Tenet (2020)

Director Christopher Nolan disappears up his own arsehole with this pretentious, needlessly convoluted action-thriller about the bending of time and space and the end of the world. Or something. It’s fast-paced and never really drags despite a two-and-a-half-hour runtime, but none of it makes a lick of sense and Nolan still isn’t quite sure how to film a coherent, aesthetically pleasing action sequence. With John David Washington (who’s a decent actor but not nearly the star his father still is), Robert Pattinson, and way too many exposition dumps.
